Questions people ask
Is it safe to merge confidential PDFs here?
Yes. The merge runs inside your browser, so the files are never sent to our servers. You can even go offline after the page has loaded and it will still work.
Is there a limit on file size or number of files?
There is no upload limit because nothing is uploaded. The limit is your device memory: up to 50 files at a time, and we warn you above 100 MB in total. On a phone, keep the total under about 50 MB.
Why does it say my PDF is password protected?
Encrypted PDFs cannot be read by this tool. Open the file with its password in a PDF viewer, save or print it as a new PDF without the password, then merge that copy.
Will the merged PDF keep my bookmarks and form fields?
Pages, text, images and links on the page are kept. Document-level extras such as bookmarks and form calculations belong to the whole file, so they are not carried over.
