Questions people ask
Does it compare words or lines?
Lines. Each changed line is shown next to its new version so you can spot the difference.
Can I compare very large texts?
Texts that are mostly the same compare quickly even when long. If the two differ on thousands of lines the tool tells you to compare smaller parts, to keep your browser responsive.
Is my text uploaded?
No. The comparison is done in your browser, so it is safe for private drafts and contracts.
Can I compare files?
Open the file in a text editor, copy the contents and paste them in. Binary files such as Word or PDF documents are not supported.
