Questions people ask
How accurate are the colours?
They are read straight from the pixels of your picture. JPG compression and screen colour settings can shift what you see slightly, so for brand colours use a lossless PNG when you can.
How is the palette made?
We group the colours of a reduced copy of the picture into up to eight clusters and show the average of each, most common first.
Can I pick with the keyboard?
Yes. Focus the picture with Tab and move the picker with the arrow keys; hold Shift to move 10 pixels at a time.
Is my image uploaded?
No. It is analysed in your browser.
