What it must show
- Hotel name, address and GSTIN
- Bill number and date
- Guest name, and company GSTIN if given
- Check-in and check-out dates and room number
- Room tariff per night and number of nights
- Food, laundry and other services as separate lines
- GST for each line
- Total and payment mode
Good to know
- The GST rate on rooms depends on the tariff per night; check the current slab for your tariff.
- Restaurant service inside the hotel can have a different rate from rooms.
