Medical store bill format
A medical store bill needs the batch number and expiry for each medicine, along with GST.
When to use it
- Every sale of medicines and medical items.
- For customers who claim the cost from insurance.
What it must show
- Store name, address and GSTIN
- Drug licence numbers
- Bill number and date
- Patient name and prescribing doctor
- Medicine name, batch number and expiry
- HSN, quantity, MRP or rate and GST
- Pharmacist's signature
Good to know
- Write batch and expiry in the description so they print on the bill.
- Most medicines are at 5% GST; some are exempt. Check the rate for each HSN.
